One-Shot characters you miss?

Anyone ever come up with a character for a one-shot game that they ended up wishing they could play more than they did? I've got a couple I've recently sorta wanted to dig up again...

I forget his name, but I had a southern baptist-type paladin, right when 3E first came out... I admit it's probably in poor taste to use a relgious sterotype like that, but he was actualy really fun... shouting out damnations at the top of my lungs in a southern-ish accent whenever the party went into battle was a blast! ;)

Another one is a character for Vampire... I sorta based him off a cross between Angel and Spike from Buffy in a few respects, but he was a lot of my own creation too... He was a Ravanos with a big focus on illusion-type powers, who basicly was sorta a "Dark Fairy Godfather"... He would generaly do good, but always at a price (blood). One of the few vampire characters I've ever played I much liked, and that game only lasted two sessions :(

Dr. Atomic from the Gen Con Mutants and Masterminds demo.

That whole game was a blast. I've included the entire PC roster into the SuperHero campaign setting I'm putting together for M&M's release.

They are...

1) The Massive Defender

2) White Warlock

3) Formula One

4) BattleChimp

5) Toolbox

And of course...

6) Dr. Atomic

My favorite one shot character was played at a convention. I was playing a paladin who was cursed and what ever I said had to be a lie. If I was hungry I would have no, made for some very funny roleplaying.

The best part, we were in some evil temple and in the clerics room. We needed to get into the chest ot the foot of the bed. Well our thief couldn't pick the locks so I picked up the chest and threw it to the ground to open it. Well the greek fire inside the chest exploded and I have greek fire on my legs burning the paladinship out of me. And I am screaming "I'm okay, everythings fine" while flailing about about.

My all time favorite one-shot character was Dimitri Shadowlark. A Tielfling thief/mage in a planescape-like setting. He only had an average charisma, but didn't realize it. He'd hatch these ornate cons relying on his "inherent good looks and charm", and he just wasn't good enough to pull them off, and got everyone into major trouble. I'd love to bring him back...my friends would most definitely prefer I didn't.
