[Online] 3.5 player wanted

moritheil

First Post
Flay is seeking a player who:

- Is looking to have fun.
- Has a reasonably good grasp of the English language. (This extends to spelling and punctuation, most of the time.)
- Would not mind playing some sort of spellcaster.
- Can make weekly sessions.
- Is capable of accepting the authority of others.
- Is able to handle (preferably, enjoys) both RP and combat.
- Has a stable internet connection.
- Feels like playing with an established group of approximately 10 players.
- Reads and agrees to this disclaimer.

Well, what are you waiting for? :D

The bullet points all look good, but I have a couple questions...

First off, would you mind a player who's never done online gaming before? I'm experienced with D&D, but thus far only in face-to-face gaming. If you're doing this over AIM, I imagine the transition should be pretty easy, but figured I should let you know anyway.

Secondly, your website says that you're accepting character applications, but I haven't found where or how to submit them. A nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.

It shouldn't be a problem. I've noted that a few of our players initially had some problems related to typing speed, but aside from that, it really isn't all that different.

Please use the link for sending in character updates to submit applications. I suppose I should clarify that; thanks.

I was interested, until I hit:

Ouch.

EDIT: That and the tone of the disclaimer was a turn off.

Good. I don't mean to be rude, but if it turns you off, it's meant to, as you probably wouldn't fit in. I have no desire to drag along a player that isn't enjoying himself, so we're both probably better off.

In case it isn't clear, the reason I have the disclaimer is to reduce the number of "lolz I wan 2b raistiln" emails that I get.

Thanks for your fast responses, guys. I'm going to tentatively say that admissions are closed, since we seem to have picked up a couple of top-rate players.

Thanks to everyone who applied!
