Emrick could be a bastard child too and evil could surround him his entire childhood like first, a man forcing a elf, his mother either died at child birth from Emrick being half human or abandoned him to save her pride or at the behest of her tribe. Thusly this would lead to non-acceptance from elves as well as humans. Growing up surrounded by wrong doing he would either fall prey to it as well or go to the extreme opposite and try to be a good. After a few years he has met a wonderful girl (human or elf) around his age (18-20) and has helped a few people along the way, but good things never last...the darkness would once again surround him and take away from him his love, all of his feelings of remorse or pity. Men jealous of the girls love for Emrick the "filthy halfbreed" would beat her then have their way with her while forcing Emrick to watch helplessly. The men leaving and his binds falling off as if held by the darkness he would crawl over to his love and put her head on his lap as he screamed up at the sky. She barely with a slither of life and her face full of sadness asked one last thing " Kiss me my love... then kill me." Emrick kissing her gently then killing her in the most painless way he could, takes her body deep into the (forest of something light/dark etc.) and lays her body in a meadow with hundreds of beautiful flowers. Emrick strokes her hair softly then gets up sheding his last tear and his emotions with it...(Dammit Ftr your enabling me to write lol)Emrick would seek revenge first, but he would make his prey suffer as he had. (Slowly torturing or doing something to them then finally killing them) Now Emrick would travel the world seeking the darkness or light (which is the other face of darkness) that controls peoples hearts and he vowed to destroy it. He may have become emotionless ( at least to people at first glance) and ruthless, but he will not let some force control his fate any longer! His journey would begin with him wanting to learn as much as possible and become experienced in the ways of battle and lore. ( and other things should someone think of something. I think thats all that comes to mind at the moment.)</blockquote>
