Emere's monologue #2 The fight was easy. As I said, these goblins are stupid to attack a military party. We found a couple of interesting signs that points to a local cult. These cults were thought long gone, but apparently back in vogue. The group decided to track the lair of this cult. A couple of us went tracking; I followed Emrick/Gavin and asked around the tavern. An old beggar said he saw the goblins from a nearby hole, and that’s where we go next. There were quite a number of traps. We decided to rest overnight before storming inside. As I started to doze off, I reflected on this strange fate that binds us all. Aeerdon and John are solid at the fight. They do a good job at holding the line and preventing enemies from attacking our rear. Emrick is scary. He seems to do very well at anything he puts his mind into it. He darts in and out of combat, striking at the most fortunate time. Gavin and Icarus have all these strange powers that I do not understand. And Atnod the Bard, I’m sure he will prove useful for our cause. Our cause… It is strange how fast we took this common cause together. No person ever ordered us to do this. No awards ever offered to us. Yet, each of us choose to do what’s right. It’s been a while since I call someone my friend, but I feel a certain sense of camaraderie is growing within this group.
