Online: Friday Night D&D 3.5 game - 9PM to 1AM PST

One of my players dropped out and I am looking for a replacement. There are currently four players and myself in the group. I prefer five players. I have been DM'ing and playing off and on since the mid '70s. I am looking for a mature player who can commit to playing regularly. You don't have to be an expert at the 3.5 rules - one of the other players hasn't played D&D since we played AD&D togeather.

We are playing D&D 3.5 core rules only. The campaign is set in the original Judge's Guild World. All characters must be good. The party level is 2nd. The new character would start with xp and equipment similar to the rest of the group. The player dropping was the cleric. It would be nice, but not necessary, if the new player also ran a cleric. The party does not need another rogue - other than that, any players handbook class and race would be ok.

We use a dice roller, battle map and audio chat to play. You will need at least Win98 and a good 56k connection to play. WinXP and broadband are better. You will also need a working mic and headphones or a headset. All the software is a free download.

If you have questions or want more details reply here or e-mail iceberg4 “at” earthlink.net (do the obvious with “at“ ;) ) and put “Online D&D” in the subject so I can dig you out of my spam filter.

Just a bump. Still looking for a player. I will post when I get one. I know the time is bad if you are not on the west coast. :( I always wonder why it always takes twice as long to find one player as it does to find a few. How much is it: Gamers travel in groups or the assumption one slot is filled so don't try?

Interested

I'm interested, but I'd like to know the following info

1. How old the DM is.
2. Does the DM require players to submit a phone number for contact (Yes is good)
3. What level is the game at?
4. What DMing experience do you have?
5. Do you focus more on roleplaying and character development, or hack & slash?

I've been doing D&D for 11 years, about 4 of those I'd consider 'successful' DMing. I'm highly fluent in the mechanics, and prefer a game where customization of character abilities is supported. Contact me at plasticass2000@yahoo.com
