Edit: Have changed the name of the Class and subclasses, alongside mentioning the abilities of said subclasses mentioned. Hello guys. I am working on a homebrew class called the Sealer. A brief description: Onmyoji are masters of binding and containment, wielding enchanted parchment to seal away objects, creatures, or even tether them to their surroundings. Using intricate symbols and enchanted inks, they craft bindings that can hold powerful entities or secure objects, preventing their movement or influence. At the pinnacle of their craft, they gain the ability to banish creatures into objects, removing them from the material plane temporarily. Their enchanted magical paper can buff allies and debuff enemies. Hit points: 1d8 Saving throws: Strength, Wisdom Proficiencies: Light Armor, Simple Weapons, Calligraphy tools Spell casting ability: Wisdom They are able to make Enchanted Paper equal to two times their Wisdom modifier. Subclasses: Now have an idea on what to do with them. Demonwarder: Studiers of Fiends, Demon and Devils alike, that learn Evocation magic, gain resistance to Fire Damage, and learn to see through magic darkness, these Sealers take the fight to the front lines. Solarchants: Those that practice in the subjugation of Celestials learn how to resist Radiant Damage, are able to see in darkness up to 90 feet as though it is bright light, learn how to heal and buff allies in battle. Dreamweaver: The bane of Fae existence, these Onmyojilearn to resist Mind Control Spells, learn battlefield control magic like Druid spells, and can see the true form of a creature once per long rest. Lichbane: Opponents of the undead and liches alike, these Onmyoji resist Necrotic damage, learn how to manipulate necromancy spells, summon undead and are capable of seeing through walls as though the walls are not present. Feedback is most appreciated.
