Alright, so let's consider our knowns: - The last place the Mirabaran caravan was seen was Beliard, a town northeast of Red Larch. - They were headed to Summit Hall, an abbey due south of Beliard, albeit through the Sumber Hills. - We found graves containing corpses connected to Mirabar south-east of Red Larch, west of the Dessarin river. - Mirabar is a dwarven kingdom to the hella north, so it's likely the corpses were part of the caravan. - We know a strange group traveled across the river from east to west with dwarf and human captives. - They paid their way with ancient dwarven tomes and apparently a gemstone, stuff dwarves would carry. - The strange group wore masks associated with the people residing in the Monastery west of Rivergard. - Rivergard Keep is apparently run by thieves and scoundrels. Alright, from that, I feel we can probably deduce that the captives we heard about are likely part of the caravan we're trying to find. The question is, is it the entire caravan or did they just take some hostages? Additionally, how did some of the corpses end up all the way where the shallow graves were? It's well past the Monastery, presuming that's where they were headed. At this point, we can only guess that the gem that was given to Grimjaw was the Mote of Earth. Honestly, I feel like we probably should keep heading the way we were heading and go to Summit Hall to find out if anyone escaped the ambush. They may have more information that would help us understand the lay of the land... or it could be a useless trip if no one escaped. The way I see it
