You may purchase whatever equipment you see fit mundane or magical from the 3 core books- however no single item may exceed 2000 gp in value. Also bear in mind some spells are restricted in ME (see the d20 conversion site) so items with enchantments or similar abilities from those spells-if any- are forbidden.I apologize for the confusion.
