Just ignorant.  They don’t KNOW things cause they never had an education. So having a headband of Intellect, in my mind, basically means it holds vast knowledge that I have access to while I wear it.  So maybe my hat has the memories of everyone who’s ever worn it. Perhaps that’s why my patron gives it to his servants. They can use the memories, and it will record theirs in turn. I have access to a vast well of information, including magical and historical knowledge that has been lost to the ages. Not sure who the patron should be, but Levistus is my favorite Archdevil.</blockquote>
