Sorry if the Executioner's Mace seems a little odd. In all reality, its only real strength (when compared to a Greataxe or Greatsword) is its versatility in overcoming DR, and DR that is only overcome by the weapon attack types is rarer then, say, DR overcome by magic, silver, or cold iron. And the oversized version of it is just because I like large weapons, no matter how impractical they may be. Needless to say, I'll be taking a pretty active role in melee combat. OK, before I make revisions, allow me to check a few things with you. When you say 2 extra skill points per level, that makes sense. But, in the first post, you said something about "a total of 8 at first level". Does that mean +8 at first level, +2 at all consecutive? Sorry, but I missed that particular part when making this character. When you say 3rd level, 3rd level Gestalt, right? So I'd be something like Gestalt Harbinger/Hexblade 3, implying 3 levels in each class? Sorry, I've never played Gestalt before. Finally, "half or better hit points"... so, do I just take full HP at first level (not counting Con bonus, 10 hp) at 5.5 at every level after that (1st - 10, 2nd - 15, 3rd - 21)? One more thing... I like weapons made from unusual materials. Are there any noteworthy metals specific to this homebrew? If not, I'll probably just get this weapon reforged (in order to still have the original weapon; sentimental value) later on to be made of another kind of metal. I might get it reforged into Adamantine later on, but if you'll allow it, I might consider Oerthblood (Dragon #351), since it fits a debuffer like me wonderfully. Here are the stats: "+1 Luck bonus on attack & damage. Foe damaged by an Oerthblood weapon receives a –1 penalty on saves vs. magical effects for 1 round. The penalties from multiple hits stack. Costs an additional 6000 gp for weapons." And I'm pretty sure that they're automatically masterwork. But, since Oerth is a reference to a world alien to this homebrew, I'd probably rename it to something else. It's fine if you won't allow this, but I think that it really fits my theme as a debuffing warrior. And I'm glad you like the story, took me quite a while to come up with. :D
