Message: <blockquote data-quote="Tristissima" data-source="post: 1303738" data-attributes="member: 6162">I dig the Dwarven Monk/Drunken Master idea, but I can go one better!  Use the Book of Exalted Deeds and take the Vow of Nonviolence feat, or even the Vow of Peace feat!  It has some nice bonuses to compensate for "losing" out on what so many consider a vitally important part of the game (combat, tho you can still do subdual with Vow of Nonviolence), but even better are the role-playing possibilities.  You could play him like the wacky, somewhat stupid character with a heart of gold, who will stand up for anyone and whose hope and optimism are a palpable forces emanating from his body (oh, wait, that's his booze-breath) that's common in so many movies.  You know, the one whose the butt of every joke, but whom the pretty girl always defends, and then at the end has the sweet moment wherein he explains everything to the hero, who rushes out to get the girl, while all the women, gay men, and others attracted to men actually fall in love with him, forgetting the teenage hunk-a-day hot stuff's name, even.Wow, I went a little far in that.  Maybe I should make this character for MY game . . . . <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":-)" title="Smile    :-)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":-)" /></blockquote>
