OK, I am somewhat confused about Belkar. I thought he started glowing greenish because he died (finally -- it's been a long time since he received the prophecy) and became a ghost, but apparently he was still alive (the anti-life shell worked against him and his eyes were lines not Xs in the everyone defeated panel).

Why was he glowing? How did he recover?

That's a bit weird since the amulet/cloak clasp is a Protection from Evil effect as shown in #969.

I have this weird feeling that Belkar is going to be perfectly fine RIGHT up until one day before the year is up, and then get killed by some freak accident, like a boulder falling from the sky.

Well now.

Did the glow disappearing mean that Belkar is no longer evil? Or did the spell just expire?

And is that the last we will see of Durkon? Did he possibly turn into mist, or is he dead both in a normal sense and in a vampire sense?
