Message: <blockquote data-quote="Thunderfoot" data-source="post: 3583032" data-attributes="member: 34175">BRAVO!  THIS is the ending I hoped for and wished would happen.No Blackguard (which was preposterous from the very first mention)No total redemption (I admit I figured she would be)No ichorOne thing I think most people missed - Miko is at peace, not resting in peace, at peace, right before she dies.  Re-reading all of the previous Miko strips, she seems so driven that she cannot see the forest for the trees.  A monk (remember her OTHER class) looks for inner peace, something that she never really displayed.  After it was all said and done, she missed her horse, the only real anchor that she still clung to as a paladin.  As for where will she end up, I am of a mind to say a LG plane, but honestly, I am not 100% committed to that either.  Arguments for LN are stong enough for me to doubt it just enough.  An afterlife meeting between Roy and Miko would be a good thing I think.  Miko has finally realized her errors, meeting Roy in the afterlife would be a solid, set in stone fact that she goofed.  (Miko never questioned the gods, they cannot be wrong in her eyes.)  Maybe she'll even see Roy for what he truly is and realize what she missed out on, eternal reaward(punishment) is tricky like that.  Of course, a little ST banter in heaven might not be all that bad either. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" /></blockquote>
