I fell really sorry for Roy, given the current state of his corpse.

But yes, Belkar did deliver the funny. And as for Mr. Scruffy, I'm inclined to paraphrase from MP&THG...

"That cat is dynamite!" (especially with being able to keep a high-level caster from doing anything constructive for a couple rounds; then again, maybe having an hissing ball of furry fury in your face gives a huge penalty to Concentration checks).
