Also, how the hell did it track Varsuvius down?
If it is not the same dragon, then why does it know Varsuvius?

I must say though that I like this particular plot development, since it may give Varsuvius a reason to work with the Imp. Its a great way to give him a small push down the slippery slope towards evil without having take a running leap to the bottom.
