The damage is random for each creature, so it's likely none of them died. Var as at full HP, but was at zero STR due to ability damage. If Belkar had been with 'em, all bets would have been off that no one would have died.

V had some damage, if the arrow did no damage, she could not have been poisoned. But yeah s/he should be fine from one run through a blade barrier.

EDIT: And maybe, since Haley was carrying her, V benefitted from Haley's Reflex bonus and Evasion. S/he's practically a carried object at this point.
