To quote someone else: "Oh hey a strip about how it's going to take longer than we thought to get the group back together and shockingly it's not all that funny. I look forward to a year and a half of these followed by a few weeks of plot advancement."

To add my own comment: On top of that, a few weeks means, what, four, five strips max? Because that's pretty much how many we've had of the group being back together again.

I know Stubbles von Smackhammer is a dwarf, but does he have to have rocks in his head? If he doesn't want to break them out cause it's against the law, why doesn't he just try to petition for a release?

Though he'd probably be dumb enough to blurt out that he cast the wind walk that got them in the city illegally and end up in the clink too. Sometimes Durkon doesn't seem to think things through. Unlike Elan though, he at least has Thor's Might backing him up.

Durkon does say he's sure he can find legit ways to get them out -- that sounds like petitioning to have them released (and probably paying the inevitable fines) to me. But Roy tells him to get Haley first.

Something clicked when Durkon learned that the other party members were at the palace. He clearly has a plan that uses this fact. What it is, I know not (since he doesn't know that they have become associates of the high and mighty). However, I suspect it is a far better plan than what Roy had in mind.
