Ouch, seems like Belkar is done for unless V shows up to rescue him. Any idea what Malak is?

Energy draining touch + reproducing bite looks like a vampire to me. Although, haven't we seen him in direct sunlight?
And a white slaad might be a bit too powerful for the comic, besides he doesn't seem that chaotic.

Still, one can't help but get the feeling that Malack is making a terrible mistake. Belkar doesn't seem disposed by temperment to being a servant regardless of what form he takes. Durkon is also high enough level to 'cure' Belkar, so it really is going to be a question of whether Belkar wants to be cured. My take is that Belkar is going to want to be cured simply because he refuses to have anything imposed on him. Belkar wants life on his own terms.

How is the bite and the comment about "children" not a dead giveaway (if you'll forgive the pun)? Vampire. I'm not even putting it in spoilery form because it seems to me this strip is supposed to make it obvious.
