Really dig how many ways the comic can go from this point.

Durkon might not be home free yet depending on how
Undeath and the Afterlife interact in Rich's milieu. It would be a wondrous schadenfreude for Durkon to wind up with Hel, since Thor has finagled so many souls away from her.
:devil:

Don't forget that raising/resurrecting the dead in D&D requires the departed soul to want to come back to life. Judging from the comic's latter frames,
I'm not sure Durkon wants to come back...

Also, there's that little issue of whether Malack wants to turn him into a vampire...

Remember the questions asked of the Oracle
[sblock]
"How will I return to my dwarven homeland?" asked by Durkon Thundershield. "Posthumously."
[/sblock]
And then
[sblock="Origin of the PC's spoiler"]
It is prophesied that Durkon will destroy his homeland if he ever returns.

[/sblock]

I'm so sad right now.

The implications are staggering...whoah.

Man, I'm loving how it's back to a regular schedule, but man, I think I've got a few pieces of dust in my eye..

Remember folks, when a PC, never split the party in dangerous situations..
When a GM, always try to split the party up... :)
