Oh goody. More "Vaarsuvius gets shunted off to his own sub-plot."

If this was a TV show, he'd already have been spun off into a new series by now.

First of all, I don't think he's had that much more of this than any of several other characters, most obviously Roy and Elan. And secondly, did you not notice the part where it directly affects the main plot?

At the end of the day, Rich will get criticisms no matter what he does, some more informed or better-thought-out than others, but most scoring poorly in both respects. So he may as well do whatever the hell he wants.

I know, but it feels like Vaarsuvius in particular hasn't had a great deal of time to be part of the party, ever since they left Azure City. It's not the plot-relevance I miss, it's his interaction with his friends.

On another note, I'm a little worried for Blackwing. The robed fiend-guys said that Vaarsuvius's body was invulnerable in his absence, but they didn't say anything about his familiar's body, and lies-of-omission are these guys' speciality.
