Because in my current campaign I'm playing in, we have "blood enemies" and "death feuds" popping out of the woodwork who we couldn't care less about and barely know why they hate us! "Die, my lifelong enemy! Our feud ends here!" "Um, OK, who are you again? I really don't feel like having a feud right now, but- Damn, another one ran right onto my sword.
