Open Call: Writer for new combat system for d20 fantasy

Fifth Element Games needs a writer to design a new combat system for d20 fantasy games. This system must be simpler and less "war game-y" than the basic d20 system (ie, no references to "squares"), while still incorporating at least most of the combat-oriented feats from the SRD (with modifications as necessary). No significant changes will be made to the "building blocks" of combat - attack rolls, damage rolls, AC, saves, etc. Attacks of opportunity will be included, but must be simplified. There are one or two other requirements that will be discussed with the selected writer.

Payment will be upon acceptance of manuscript at a per-word rate. The rate is negotiable and will depend on qualifications and ability.
