LOL, ok, to answer a few thing. First, it is not a troll. That really was a typo. I certainly did expect to be disagreed with. No problem on that. It was the insults I didn't like. Now to the party. Actually I was wrong in a few things. The wizard was using a wand of magic missiles, 10th level. And yes he did have all thoes rings. They do have a lot more equipment then they should, and I admited as much. That is how I like it, and how they like it. We have a reat time. I have to beef up the threats. The dragon tactics were not how I would normally play them, because they were compelled to protect a peice of treasure. I can not say more, because some of my players are going to be reading this, and I don't want them to know much. The mage never shot a lightning bolt at the dragon. He was hit with a couple of fireballs. The party really dosen't know how to min and max. Most of them don't have enough experience. A protection electricity protects for quite a while, when the area is only a 5 foot line and the party is spread out. On top of that, the SR fo a young adult blue dragon is 19. The mage was level 8 with spell pen. That is a 9 to roll. The cleric lvl 8 but is a radient, so his damaging spells are +1 level, (he was using searing light). That is a ten. Not eally hard to make. The dragons attacks are bit for 2d6+6, claw for d8+3 tail slap d8+9. Stone skin took most of the hits. When it ran out, the mage had another. It casts as a lvl 3, not much there. I did not give it ALL of the feats. I did give it flyby though. Unfortunatley, it takes two round to turn around, because of the flying menuv. That was two round it was far enough to be hit by fireball spells, and the arrows. It needed to get close. The characters kept moving around. The radient (priest) had empowered healing. A empowered healing circle rocks... The archer is the one who hurt him the most. Even when he was down to his +1 arrows. His damage for each was still +9 an arrow. Fireing four a round (and yes, he was taking an aoO. He did use a five foot step a couple of times, because the dragon landed ten feet away (so he could use his wing slap on other opponents)) The dragon had a AC of 26. The archer had a to hit of +19. Not ard to hit, even with secondary attacks. (9base, 4dex, 1 arrow, 1 focus, 2 bracers archery, 2 bow) Plus he critted a few times, and used the spell hunters mercy. (auto crit for next bow shot) I know there was more I wanted to answer, but I forgot srry.
