Licensors want to work with companies who are going to treat their properties well. If you have no track record, your only hope would be to throw so much money at them that they take a chance and that's almost certainly more money than you could ever recoup on an RPG line. You could take your idea to another company but it'd be up to them to actually negotiate the deal. If they do all the work and take the financial risk to get the license, you better then have some good arguments ready for why they should hire you to work on it. At that point, it's almost surely a safer bet for them to handle it internally.</blockquote>
