The name of the building did not really fit its construction, for it did not specifically tower over the other building of the district. The name was more symbolic. The leaders of the city’s official Religion of Light met in the tower. The specific hierarchy of the clergy was not known outside of its membership, but while the Radiant One was hailed as the oracle for the Burning Sun, it was the member of the College of Radiance who chose the person to fill that position. The Magister wanted his man inside the college to influence, what he deemed, a much simpler decision. Now that the previous magister of the Alchemy District had met with an early demise a special election must be held to choose his replacement. Karef had chosen Vieri Hadrin, a fellow Sioliri, to be the replacement.</blockquote>
