The first lizard that he had affected with the augmented snail shell regains consciousness but decides to vacate the area rather than return to battle. The lizard still attached to his leg suffers the same toxic effect as the other, relaxing its jaw and falling unconscious before it could do more harm.</p><p></p><p>Moving faster than the lizard could flex their jaws, Jalakaag backhands both, knocking them loose and sending them each a stride away with a concussive force. Perhaps it is a blessing that these are some of the smallest lizards that will actually defend their territory from people. Perhaps there is an element of luck or even Divine intervention. Only one lizard is dead, and one has run off. The other four will likely regain consciousness rather quickly.
