Well, let's see You were last around at the tail end of the business with the Dvonn yes? Well, that has been resolved: http://www.enworld.org/showpost.php?p=2481681&postcount=413 Quinn has left to do Secret Marine Stuff (TM). Zaedhrarrg has been invalided back to his homeworld Tomas has decided he likes a quite live in obscurity The rest of the group were sitting for witness protection for some time, before deciding what to do. Going after Nells-C was mooted as an option, but there are other people better at it than them. Instead they've been in contact with the Scout Service who have a new little job for them: http://www.enworld.org/showpost.php?p=2493787&postcount=7 (That couple of pages of discussion is worth reading verbatim), but see especially: http://www.enworld.org/showpost.php?p=2534735&postcount=33 So the group has found themselves the 400 ton Scout Merchant Vyrkis and a breif to unofficial promote trade and links with the Imperium on the frontier; they have also picked up Gwydion as their "liason" with the ISS and an acqaintance of his, Tuan, as another crew member. They are currently taking jobs to get them there (it's a fair hop to the frontier); their current cargo job was a two parter: 1) Supply run to the research installation on Bleue Mer (this was the planet Treth once owned right back at the beginning of the game) - and Saanath was around for some of that digging. I have Meadwyns original notes about this... 2) On the way they were taking some overdue harvest equipment to Shirgegge along with a dozen business people on their way to deal with the K'kree at their Expo (which was suppossed to be on Dukh but stopped a planet early because of the Emperor's embargo) The cargo run has gone fine, however one of the passengers was killed in jump-space when someone turned up the gravity in his cabin and overstressed his heart - death was by heart failure and it was only because the higher gravity caused blood to pool more quickly than normal that the underlying cause was found. Search of his cabin revealed a few chips worth of intelligence data there. With a murder, espionage and no obvious suspect the group discretely contacted the Imperial Light Cruiser Coronel - which was escorting the K'kree - and they took charge of the situation as discretely as possible. However there was no obvious clue as to who was responsible. The Flotilla's intelligence officer then made a proposal: The deceased was obviously going to sell this data to the K'kree. He would supply a subtly altered and misleading version of the data which you could then sell to the K'kree, whatever you made from them you could keep. Ruzz'koff thought this stank and said no way; but Gwydion took the offer up privately and discretely and went and made the deal. However he was attacked whilst finalising the deal and has just arrived back at the Starport with one of the passengers who might not be all she claims to be.
