Breath Weapon (Su): An orange dragon has one type of breath weapon, a stream of pure liquid sodium. 1/2 damage first round, 1/2 damage second round as per acid. If an attempt is made to wash the sodium off with water, full damage is taken as fire.
If a creature is west or standing in water, full damage is taken; half as fire, half as acid. In all cases damage is halved if the creature makes it's reflex save.

Water Breathing (Ex): The dragon can breathe underwater indefinitely and can freely use its breath weapon, spells, and other abilities while submerged.

Pass without Trace (Sp): Once per day as per the druid spell.

Other Spell-Like Abilities: 3/day- heat metal, suggestion and control water; 1/day-neutralize poison and hallucinatory terrain.

got to get with the color...

Ooh, nasty, I'll give it 5 out of 5. But then again, I'm partial towards dragons :D

Now we just need a brow/red cross: Napalm spitting dragon

Other fun crosses to consider:

Green/Red (speckled or striped): Pyroclastic breathweapon!!!
Red/Blue (purple): Pure Energy breathweapon
Black/Red: Another napalm spitter, probably won't happen with water and fire being opposed elements and all... to sad really... :(
Green/White (Mint Dragon :D): Blizzard in a breathweapon.
Green/Black: Probably won't do much...
Blue/Black: What do you get when you cross electricity with acid???

Edit: Just wanted to add:

Happy Birthday to Me :D

Try looking at the Dragon in DragonLord of Melnibone.

it's a straight up 23HD dragon (iirc) ... but it spits a venom that is pretty napalm like

It might need a bit of tinkering. I'm waiting to hear from Scott or Eric. Dragon #248 said the orange is larger than the black. I based the hit dice on the white so I'm inclined to bump the hit dice and strength to match its red parent.

Well, I think it's nice the way it is.

Anyone know how to calculate the SR of dragons, so far I'm only guessing when assigning SR on the dragons I've create.
I've got 4 or so new dragons I need to post some day:

Crown (LN dragon, that considers itself a noble).
Gravereaper (a planar dragon of sorts)
Storm (oriental style serpentine dragon, not a lung).
and the Uhuru Wyrm (Bigass firedragon that rivals the azure in size).

I might even repost the azure dragon.

Ah the Orange Dragon. Featured in (Spoiler Alert) Under The Storm Giant's Castle, one of my favorite 1st Edition 3rd party modules, a classic of the genre. 3E stats were printed in the Dragon Compendium making the orange a Very Young dragon at most. I made him a Mandarin Orange dragon and made him from Kara-Tur, only fitting since the other featured dragon was known only as "Chinese Dragon". This made his friend/foster Acorn a Wu-Jen Dracolyte (Dragon Foster)/Dracomancer. It's very unlikely I'll have another Orange in the game unless a Wild Surge happens. It is possible that the party could planeswalk or dimension hop to a world where the "standard" dragon types are replaced by less common types. I had a rather confused and convoluted plot that I never got to run featuring Timelords (who also appeared in Dragon 65, the debut of the orange dragon) and The Dark Is Rising Series. "When the dark comes rising, 6 will turn it back, 3 from the circle, 3 from the track: wood, bronze, iron, water, fire, stone, 5 shall return...and 1 go alone." Tom Baker's Dr. Who had a season tracking down the key of time or something, which had its parts disguised and spread across the multiverse. I was going to send the PCs on a similar quest, using the Dark Is Rising thematic elements. the 2ndary color dragons were going to be guardians of some of the pieces. Never got to run it.
