[QUOTE="Andrew Ridenour, post: 6233112, member: 6705723"] So first things first, this will be my 2nd time playing pathfinder. (I've DM'd everything up to this point, and only played to learn the rules, basically.) I know how to make a character, and I know how to make good characters, but I want something different... An Lawful Evil Orc Wizard Anyways, I got the inspiration for this character from watching a Skyrim Let's play some time back. (Several months in fact.) I was thinking of working a character like this into my last campaign, but couldn't get him in anywhere that made sense, so decided against it. However, he was always in the back of my mind, growing, changing, and just down right evolving into a full blown monstrous villain... Then, a couple of months ago, one of my players told me that he wanted to run his own game. He's DM'd different games before, not Pathfinder, but other games, and he's a good story-teller, so I had no problem with this. Then he gave me the setting, and I found out that he's actually going to run back-to-back campaigns. Starting with an Evil Prequel campaign first. So... that means that I can use Borghildr, the Orc Wizard. However, I'm not sure what kind of wizard he should be... A couple of notes: The game starts with the characters at level 4, with a 25 point buy, or roll 4d6, drop the lowest. The orc will have 3 levels wizard, 1 level of LE Anti-Paladin, for character reasons, plus it gives him the proficiency in Heavy Armor that I want him to have, and yes, I'm aware of the arcane failure chance, while in heavy armor. He's likes all forms of magic, but really like destructive and mind-affecting spells the most, and he won't say no to a little necromancy, if it serves his goals. Also, due to character reasons, the -2 int is waved for this orc. Now, I know kind of what I want him to do. He's kind of already been deemed the Tyrannical leader of the group, as the rest appear to be assassins and thieves, working for local guilds. (In fact, I'm not sure, but I think I'm a couple of the assassin's targets... Anyways... what I'm trying to figure out is what kind of Wizard should I be, what school should I focus, and what schools should turn away from, to make this work the best that I can. I think Universalist might be my best option, but as just about anything is open to me to use, so long as it's online, and the DM can look it over, I'm curious to know if there's something better out there to go with...
