Okay... this is my second orcish mage PC (i just love them, i don't know why) and was wondering what to do to make him deeper. Ner'zhul Blackhand (yes, very warcraft) was a member of an orcish tribe, like most orcs are. However, he was nothing like a typical orc. He did not relish combat as an orc should, in fact, he disliked it, thought it a waste of time when time is such a rare commodity. (What the hell kind of orc is this?) Surprisingly, that has nothing to do with his weakness in strength... but he makes up for that. He can trick other orcs into doing anything, (mostly by playing on their warrior's honor) which eventually caught the collective eyes of the clan elders. They handed him a book written in an ancient dialect of orc that even Ner'zhul's quick mind had trouble deciphering. But, he was able to read it, which pleased the elders immensly. You see, orcish prophecy declares that the one who can understand the book will be the savior of the orcish race. This book is the ancient spellbook of the last orcish archmage (yes, an orcish archmage) from several millenia ago. Why is he not in historybooks? The elves don't want people to think orcs are capable of magic, so they kept his existence hushed up. This book has secrets thought lost to magic... the ability for a group of mages to channel their power into a collective spell. The tribe was eventually captured and sold into slavery by human raiders, but Ner'zhul escaped with an invisibility spell. "You must protect the book, it will be our salvation" were the last words of the elder before his lifeblood was spilt onto the grass. Ner'zhul walked, contemplating his strange fate. Was he to be the savior of this race of idiot barbarians? As if on cue, a slave convoy began rolling up the path, with four armored spearmen keeping watch. Ner'zhul decided that if he were to begin my crusade, he may as well start now. As the convoy rolled up, he stood defiantly in the road. "It's another greenskin, but he looks weak! He'll die after three days in the mines, boss!" "Whatever, then kill it then. We don't want no damn dirty orcs who aren't slaves." (Ner'zhul) "Ah, such fools... their death will be satisfying. Is there anybody in this world who thinks logically?" As the orc began weaving wisps of power together from nothingness, the men began to realize that this was no ordinary orc. As a bolt of bluish-white lightning pierced the body of one, and continued on to impale another, the remaining two found themselves running, running until they were sure they escaped. Then, the world became fire as a large detonation occurred under one man's foot... After unlocking the chains of the slave convoy, Ner'zhul was greeted by cheers and hollers. He declared himself their leader, and nobody opposed him. One even volunteered to be his champion... once he got another spiked chain, all would fall before him. He decided that if nobody was going to think logically on their own and imporve the world, he would force them to. Then, all would be perfect... What should i do to make him deeper?
