I think they make a mistake in discussing specific time values for their fuel and pursuit because it makes something concrete that probably would be better a bit more vague. How long does it take the Millennium Falcon to get from Hoth to Bespin and how long does Luke train with Yoda? We don't know. Ergo, there's all sorts of narrative room for the viewer to make assumptions. Eighteen hours in The Last Jedi removes that narrative room, which, I think, doesn't do the movie any favors. That said, I clearly don't consider it fatal since I enjoy the movie. I just see it as something they could have done better.</blockquote>
