Oriental Adventures: Empty Hand Mastery

I was looking at the martial arts styles on page 80 and found that Table 6-2: Martial Arts Styles says one thing about what feats one must have for Empty Hand Mastery and the text under Empty Hand Mastery (Prerequisites) says another adding the feat Ki Shout that is not found on the table. So my question is what do I go with the table or the text?

In the text around table 6-2 it says that they are 'sample martial arts styles'. The 'sample mastery abilities' are listed under the headings. If in doubt, the errata for the core rule books makes it clear that the text description overrides the table where there is a conflict. So the prerequisites are articulated in the mastery decription.

The table is simply listing those feats typically associated with the style. You'll notice, for example, that the table has additional feats for Foot and Fist.
