Origins: Skills: Traveller Twilight 2000 Rolemaster Talislanta WHFRP GURPS To an extent - Non-Weapon Proficiencies in AD&D. Palladium Feats: GURPS (Advantage/Disadvantage) D&D/AD&D (assorted weirdness like weapon spec) HERO(?) Prestige classes; WHFRP Wizardry (computer game) To an extent D&D/AD&D some others I am too lasy to scroll back and look at. The thing is everyone wants an origin. But there isn't one. The RPG industry is so small its incestuous. Its organic and virulant. A good idea will spread like wildfire. (Interestingly enough no one has come up with a good magic system, the common denominator being spells and thats about it.) When this happens the development seems to come from everywhere at once. Its not a few select systems that influenced d20. Its all of them. d20 just takes all of these ideas and uses the same mechanic in each one. yay. Aaron.
