<blockquote data-quote="ashockney" data-source="post: 973687" data-attributes="member: 1363">Thread JumperI hope you don't mind my thread-jumping!I too just wrapped up another great Origins.&nbsp; The fifth or sixth in a row for me.&nbsp; I ran two events:&nbsp; Mutants &amp; Masterminds: Ultimate X-Men vs. the Avengers, and Return to the Lair of the Fire Giant King (a 3rd Edition D&amp;D, 14th level adventure).&nbsp; Special thanks to Rory who was a huge help in running the M&amp;M scenario (with my limited experience).&nbsp; Really a GREAT game.&nbsp; Worth a look, certainly worth demo'ing at a con.&nbsp; If you've got it to spend, it's definitely worth picking up.&nbsp; A beautiful book.&nbsp; (*cough* Origins Awards *cough*)&nbsp; And, my apologies go out to my DnD group.&nbsp; I know I wracked up enough &quot;cruel points&quot; to last a year, but I hope you'll hop into another game with me next year!&nbsp; Both were a blast.&nbsp; I had GREAT groups.&nbsp; These were some of the best RP'ing groups I've had the pleasure of DM'ing at Origins.&nbsp; The RPG's are definitely on the comeback!&nbsp; Agreed on the assessment that this was a great RPG year, and that the DM's really seemed to have it together this year (thanks to JP especially for all the great ideas!).Organization:&nbsp; unparrelled.&nbsp; Kudos especially to Mr. Scott Bagley who organized and coordinated the events.&nbsp; Fantastic job, easily the smoothest run con I've been to in Columbus, and probably among my best experiences at a convention (including over 5 Gen Con and every Origins in Columbus).&nbsp; Nice job!Dealer room was hopping.&nbsp; Wizkids was hot...but so was Wizards, and MANY of the other d20 booths.&nbsp; (At least on Saturday and Sunday).&nbsp; I walked out with tons of new d20 product (mostly deep discounted stuff), and the folks who garnered most of my money were:&nbsp; Green Ronin, White Wolf, and Fantasy Flight Games.&nbsp; Nice job, nice product, I can't wait to read it!&nbsp; Another year's worth of product to dig through!&nbsp; I was tempted by Fast Forward and the new Dragonlance campaign setting...but held off.&nbsp; Still most looking forward to Unearthed Arcana's pending release.That's all for this year!&nbsp; I hope to see everyone again soon!</blockquote>
