Hello from Origins!!!

Today was the first day oif Origins and it was a blast, but actually my Origins adventures started last night. I was invited over to Hellhound, and Dextra's hotel room for some gaming. The hotel they choose was really hard to find, and I couldn't get good directions from anyone. But once finding it, the fun began. Hound and Dextra, and their artist friend Jim, are some of the great people. They were very nice and we chatted gaming stories all night, we never even got to Hound's kobold game.

Today at the convention I meet back up with them in the Dealer's room. I was also able to meet Bill Butler and Ghostwind in the booth next door. Both really nice guys as well. I didn't run into anyone else from the boards (well except for LordApc, but since he's in my gaming group I wasn't as exciting meeting him ).

The con seems a lot busier this year. I played in a Midnight game that was okay, if a little on the wierd side. And I also played in a Buffy game as Kendra. That game was lot of fun.

Well, I'll be adding more when I awake in the morning as it's been a long day.

I was going to be there today for a one day, but my job interfered. A couple of my gaming friends drove out and they said it was great.

Well, if anyone happens to be at the Con, find the EN Publishing/ MEG Booth. That's where I usually am in between games as well a few other cool people. Hound's usually there too.

Another day, more games!! Well, not the ones I expected. I as singed up for an Oathbound one, but we didn't have enough people. But I did get a copy of Wrack and Ruin out of it. I haven't had a chance to read much of it yet, but I'm damn happy with it. I hung out with Hound and Dextra most of the day (stop by EN Publishings booth if you get a chance!!!). I went to the panel discussion on pdf publishing, Hound was one of the speakers , but for some reason I didn't harrass him too much. I missed my Mutants and Mastermind game because of time telling problems, but did get to play a great card game called Grave Robbers from Outerspace with the creator over dinner. It's a card game where one makes a B movie and you try to stop the others from makiing their's.

Then in the evening Jim, one of the artists I meet ran Feng Shui for us and that was a blast. Hound get's into character a little too much, it's almost scarey. Even Dextra was asking him to bring it down a few notches.

Well, two more days at the con and hearing about Leslie and her thousand Buffy games she's playing in; all Buffy all the time with her. But I'll live.
