I've seen some really neat projects being promoted for this event.</p><p></p><p>It looks like last week was relatively slow on releases, but I found some that I think are worth taking a look at.</p><ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul"><a href="https://fleetingxe.itch.io/martas-vineyard-of-despair" target="_blank"><strong><u>Marta's Vineyard of Despair</u></strong></a> is up on itch. It's a really interesting one-page adventure submitted to a couple of game jams. One of the things that makes it interesting is the exploration of deaf history prior to the invention of ASL.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Speaking of Mausritter Month, <a href="https://dodocahedrongames.itch.io/whiskers-and-wastelands" target="_blank"><strong><u>Whiskers and Wastelands</u></strong></a> is a blend of Mausritter and Eco Mofos; a post-apocalyptic setting in which you play as mice and other small-folk, trying to reinvent a world that eschews what brought about the apocalypse in the first place.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Jeffrey Jones is Kickstarting <a href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1580058713/dark-devilry-for-the-shadowdark-rpg" target="_blank"><strong><u>Dark Devilry for Shadowdark</u></strong></a>, two volumes that bring the lower planes to Shadowdark. He's assembled quite a cast of contributors for this project.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">It seems like its been awhile since I mentioned anything by Philip Reed: he's currently raising funds for <a href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/philipreed/the-deck-of-old-school-wilderness-encounters-by-philip-reed" target="_blank"><strong><u>The Deck of Old-School Wilderness Encounters</u></strong></a>, a system-agnostic deck of cards designed to randomly generate wilderness encounters.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">I somehow managed to miss that Inkwell Ideas is funding something similar to Mr. Reed: an <a href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inkwellideas/hexploration-decks-expanded-along-the-way-and-strongholds" target="_blank"><strong><u>expansion to their Hexploration Deck</u></strong></a> series. I use II's Worldographer for all of my mapping needs, and Joe has been producing a ton of great content for overland mapping and adventuring. There's only three days left in this campaign, so be sure to jump on it if it strikes your fancy.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Space Dragon Games has released <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/540345/basic-gishes-goblins?affiliate_id=253473" target="_blank"><strong><u>Basic Gishes and Goblins,</u></strong></a> an OSR-style game of dungeon crawling that seeks to emulate JRPGs.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Dyson Logos has released <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/541975/the-ossuary-masquerade?src=newest_recent&affiliate_id=253473" target="_blank"><strong><u>The Ossuary Masquerade</u></strong></a>, a Halloween-themed adventure for Mork Borg.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">I've mentioned Midnight of the Century, the serial killer investigative rpg by Colin le Sueur, a few times, and he's just released a<a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/541731/midnight-of-the-century-primer?src=newest_recent&affiliate_id=253473" target="_blank"><strong><u> primer for the game</u></strong></a>.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Elln the Witch has released <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/541458/my-little-places-forest-of-the-eternal-rain?src=newest_recent&affiliate_id=253473" target="_blank"><strong><u>My Little Places: Forest of the Eternal Rain</u></strong></a>. I <em>think</em> it's supposed to be the first in a series of system-agnostic fantasy locations, but I can't quite tell. The author has been releasing a bunch of neat little OSR supplements for awhile, though, and this is one to add to the list.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul"><a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/540617/gongoozler?src=newest_recent&affiliate_id=253473" target="_blank"><strong><u>gongoozler</u></strong></a> is an adventure written for Liminal Horror, a short-two pager that's in ashcan form, in the process of being expanded and edited.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">I'm raising funds for <a href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thirdkingdom/populated-hexes-monthly-year-four" target="_blank"><strong><u>Populated Hexes Monthly, Year Four</u></strong></a>, a compilation of Issues 37-48 of Populated Hexes Monthly.
