(OT)A big "Thank You"

I have to send a big "Thank You" to everyone on these boards who have suggested reading the George R.R. Martin "Song of Ice and Fire" series.

After reading many kudos about it on these boards, I ordered the first two volumns from Amazon.com (I got a package deal.) I've started reading the first one, and I'm completely hooked. So far, I like the first book better than any of the Wheel of Time books -- I stopped reading at vol. 5 or 6.

So now a question: How many books are in the Song of Ice and Fire series? I read somewhere that there were three, but there might be more.

5) A Feast for Crows
6) A Time of Wolves

Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, and A Storm of Swords.

As far as i know, there is supposed to be another 2 Books after that.

Like you, i started reading them after hearing all the good reviews they were getting here, and couldnt put them down. Very good stuff, im looking forward to the rest.

I recently started reading A Game of Thrones myself, and find it hard to put down.

Makes me wish my train ride in the morning was longer so I'd have more time to read.

There were originally going to be 5 books, with a 10 year (in-character) gap between books 3 and 4, to allow for the younger characters to grow. However George decided to add another book to cover said gap, expanding the series to 6.
