[OT] A highly suspicious sort of question.

If anyone's got one handy, could you measure the height (from the surface it rests on) and approximate weight of a billiard ball? Imperial measuresments prefered.

Thank you.

Wow. Uh, thanks Mark.

I never, in all my life, expected that someone, somewhere, would find it necessary to create a website dealing with billiard ball specifications. I have to go hide now.

Billiard Ball specs are important.

Have to make artificial billiard balls out of explosives for those 'high class' assassinations.

Although I've been told that snooker balls are even higher class, but they aren't as heavy and therefore don't blow up as well.

It's pretty amazing what you'll find with over 400 million web sites out there. If you wind up hiding under the billiard table, take a glance around for my cuff link... ;)

Google knows all. Someone - probably on these very boards, though I could be wrong - once hypothesized that 50 years from now, Google will be worshipped as some kind of pagan god of knowledge. My reply, of course, was "Hell, I do that already." :)

Damned straight! A weekly (or bi-weekly if you're stingy) sacrifice gets you at least a 20% better "hit rate" on your searches.
