[ot][astronomy][paranoia] aim running man nebula

i can't explain why but this really creeped me out.


check out the dark regions of this nebula in orion that "suggest to many the shape of a running man"

To me, it looks like a man with a pair of giant bird wings strapped to his arms taking a running leap off a cliff, trying to fly.

Agreed. I'm not entirely sure I know which dark areas are supposed to look like a running man. I've got a hunch, but if I hadn't been told what I should see, I would never have gotten there.

Then again, all I see when I look at those "unfocused" drawings that were popular a few years back is a bunch of static.

Isn't the Egyptian god Osiruis supposed to have come from there? We could be viewing a god that went home.

To me, I can't make ANY PART of the nebula out to be a "running man". Somebody needs to trace the outline or something
