And, while the fans are already celebrating, Darin Erstad leaps up out of absolutely nowhere and catches it.Then leads off the tenth, and hits a home run. That was the Angels of 2000 -- and that's the Angels of 2002. Doing the impossible, and doing it when it counts. So I can't say I really understand what waiting 16 years is like -- I only had to wait two. And I can't say it really took me by surprise, either: David Eckstein, Darin Erstad, Jarrod Washburn, Tim Salmon, Garret Anderson, Rex Hudler, the Rally Monkey... That much fight, that much pure energy, that much will to win was bound to come up big for them sooner or later.All that, and it's just plain fun to watch Eckstein totally rock out in the on-deck circle, isn't it?</blockquote>
