Instead, he takes the easy way out and packs his kid off to boarding school and makes it somebody else's problem. So typical of the 70's "Me" generation and the generations since - "You raise my child for me because I can't be bothered. I'm too wrapped up in me."  I'm so glad not to be part of that f'd up belief system. But I'm really not surprised here. Ben Stein is a pseudointellectual self-important facist who used to write speeches for Nixon. As a humorist he is sophomoric at best. And his tacky game show only gave away $5,000 to boot!
