(OT) Blogs?

So just out of sheer curiosity, how many of us keep a web journal of some sort?

I myself have got one on LiveJournal. Any of you are welcome to check it out. I only ask that you A) identify yourself in the body of any comments you make, since non-LJ-members can only post anonymously, and B) behave. ;)

It's at http://www.livejournal.com/users/mouseferatu/, if any of you are really that bored.

So who else here has one? Anyone?

Wow. Do you talk to yourself when no one else is around?

I'm not sure what to make of this.

Do you actually go back and read this stuff, or is it just theraputic to write?

Nope, don't talk to myself. That's what the journal is for. ;)

Some of it's just therapy. Some is stuff I feel like sharing with my online friends. (LJ is a massive community, and I've got almost a 100 people on my "friends of" list, which means they probably read my journal regularly. And I've got about that many on my friends list, so I can keep up with that they're doing.)

Sometimes I feel like ranting. Sometimes I feel like expressing an opinion. Sometimes I want feedback on something.

I suspect a good many message boarders have some kind of blog. With all that desire to write but not necessarily enough outlets, there's a lot to be said for just rambling. And a bit more to be said for sheer WTF-ness posts. (A good many people seem to have either noticed me through my friends lists, or noticed my friends through me. Of course, my name reaches the numbers of the alphabet, which made it easy for me to be noticed earlier on.)

And mine's updated on a "when I have something to say, I'll post my drivel" schedule. Still, I'll post a comment in yours if you're bored enough to read a stranger's thoughts for fun.

I actually just added a Campaign Journal section to my site, A specific blog where groups can post campaign journals. The Opal journal is mine, a record of the new campaign my group just started. I must admit I really like recording my character's point of view on the campaign. My hope was that other members of my group would post their own views on the past week's adventure, but it's like pulling teeth to get them to write a paragraph.
