God it's great to live in a state that doesn't play this insane game.

It's actually a rather important system - it saves a lot of energy during the summer. The other 49 states, around 70 other countries, and even the Native American reservations in your own state have daylight saving time, so why not hop on board?

I've never liked the Daylight Saving scheme. I want midnight to be in the middle of the night, and I want the sun to be straight up (well, at its highest point, the sun doesn't really do directly overhead this far from the equator) at noon! Down with timezones too! Bah!
