Message: <blockquote data-quote="Rel" data-source="post: 1158682" data-attributes="member: 99">Just to be clear, I don't think the call was "wrong".  But it wasn't like he came crashing down on top of somebody with the potential to injure them.  In fact, it looked as though he would have landed without hitting anyone if one of the guys on the right end of the line hadn't been blocked back into him.The call wasn't technically wrong, but I find it hard to believe that nobody is bumping into anybody else when jumping to block the average field goal attempt.  It seemed that it was more of a "convenient time to start enforcing the rule" situation.  Regardless, I was still pulling for the Colts (if only to justify how late I had stayed up watching the game) and I don't think the call decided the game definitively.I do think that it was ironic that Gramatica made two tries at significantly longer FG's, either of which would have sealed the deal, but when Janikowski (sp?) tried two relatively short kicks at the end of OT, he missed the first one and (ti looked like) would have missed the second if a TB player hadn't tipped it back inside.Unbelievable.</blockquote>
