So by now most of you probably know that we're getting more traffic than we know what to do with, but Thomas Heretic says we can get by on 10-15 GB/month by splitting the templates to Martin's hosting and running gz compression.
If we move the board over to Lunar, there would a $30 setup fee and a monthly bill of $10/month (and some savings if we purchase in 6 month or year-long blocks).
In any event we're looking at another fund drive, and this time Margo and I would like to build a brand new community chest in case of emergencies like these. And unlike some hosts, I don't think you need to worry about us taking all your money only to turn around and kick NKL to the curb a few months later.
We'll gladly take any amount that you can afford -- every little bit helps -- but if you donate $10 USD or more, you will become a NKL Sugar Daddy! As a NKL Sugar Daddy you'll get a kewl avatar that shows everybody you're one of our community supporters, and you'll also get access to a brand new, private forum just for moneybags like you.
Currently there are two ways to fork over loot. One is to use PayPal:
