First Post
for those of you unfamiliar with harpers index, here is a sample:

Average # of times an american opens the refrigerator each day: 22
Percentage of refrigerators in american households that are either white or almond: 99
Portion of all U.S. telephones that are in the kitchen:1/3
Chances that an american will use a recipe when cooking dinner: 1 in 5
Percentage of americans who say that the leftovers in their refrigerator are over 4 weeks old: 5

and on and on...now, can we come up with a gamers index? even an enworld index?

i think the idea is for each poster to come up with a statement or question they can place a numeric value to.

examples-
#of post any given day-
highest # of post on any day-
# of pdf publishers in d20-
ratio of men to women on the board-
# of characters it took you to get thru rtttoee-
yadayada

Hmm. How would you work such things out? I'm sure I don't remember the greatest number of posts I've done in one day.

try a google search on "harper's index" it iwll show you the method better than i can explain...strings of the numbers sometimes interact

i was gonna include one, but there were some highly charged political statements in the recent ones, and i didn't want to go there :)

GM loses an important note / paper per game 1
