[rant] Who the hell thought allowing threads announcing post-counts was a good idea?
IMO they should have been eradicated shortly after people starting posting them - that way, they wouldn't be continuing so often.
The fact that this thread is in General Discussion makes it even worse - how self-serving does a thread have to be before the poster is 'disciplined', or at least told it's not OK? [/rant]
