I stop at the gas station, gas up, and hit the interstate for home......Three miles down, my engine falls out of my car. Across two lanes of traffic. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f631.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":eek:" title="Eek!    :eek:"  data-smilie="9"data-shortname=":eek:" />I get out of my car and proceed to walk in my white-collar wear the three miles back to the interstate. It begins to drizzle."Could be worse" I said, trying not to think of the repair bill.It proceeds to downpour.I proceed to get thoroughly soaked. I make it back to the exit, and call my wife to pick me up. 1 hour and 30 minutes later, she arrives.I go home, to find that our toilet is backed up. After I spend 20 mintues getting it unclogged, my fellow DM from our gaming group has called to cancel the session.To top it off, I related the story to a co-worker the following monday, and she told me that she and her husband had been driving down the interstate that day, and had seen me. She told me I looked like a crazy person walking out there in the rain, with no proper clothes for it, and not recognizing me, just drove on.
