They see all the stats and all the numbers and all the math (minor to must Hero players I know, but to newbies) and they give up on it. While I still love Hero, the fact that I would not get many people to even try it is a big negative in my book and you can say that "I have had no trouble teaching it to hundreds of people" all you want but I just have a hard time believing that 99% of the people really paid much attention to what was happening and it was more "OK my turn to roll... do I hit? How many dice do I roll? How much damage do I do... kewl" where the GM does all the figuring...</blockquote>
