[OT] mourn for the loss...

First Post
May we have a moment of silence for our dearly departed Madius. In life he was a theif with a delusion of grandure and the belief that he was "A Master Theif.." He was struck down yesterday by a giant construct made of armor. May in death will he become a true master theif.

illistration done by Madius's creator Chris V.

Poor, poor Madias. He will be missed(he fell victim to a "Spin Die" trap and survived, but then got splattered against the walls of the corridor by an Animated Suit of Armor).

Any donations in his name can be made to:
Tak der Griss
der Griss Estate, Benetia

All donations will be used(in Madias' name, of course) to help fund our quest to kill a dragon.

"Poor Madias. I remember how he used to look at me when we were sitting around and just say 'So, when're we gonna go kill that dragon?'" -Tak der Griss, Friend, Adventuring Companion, and Gentleman

I suggest in Madius' honor, we come up with epitaphs for his tombstone, such as:

Madius the rogue, uncannily alert
for his party, the mailed golem he did divert
the mighty automaton smashed him to dirt
Poor Madius did suffer a greave-ous hurt.

or...

Madius was quite the charmer
aspired to greatness, not some mere farmer
into a foul dungeon,
he went a-plungin'
And met his end via walking armor

or...

R.I.P.
Madius the master thief
He was living proof
why thieves don't like plate mail.

I like this one. I think that come Monday, that'll be on Madias' headstone(he's buried in the garden of the der Griss estate, now owned by Tak).

Very nice, except for that word living... ;)

Perhaps:

R.I.P.
Madius the Master Thief
He gave us proof
why rogues don't like plate mail.

ya know maybe if he didn't wear a bright red and yellow shirt as a thief he might of become a master thief, and who knows maybe have survived the animated suit of armor as it attacked someone else, someone with brighter clothing. :D

There once was a thief named Madius
Who got pounded to death by a gladius
The players gasped when
He hit negative ten
Not knowing the DM was a sadist.
